Really, what is impossible for us, when we ourselves are the source of unending strength ? What is required is the strong desire and then everything follows.With this confidence and inspiration of Swami Vivekanand, a group of spirited and altruist youths joined to form Vivekanand Seva Mandal to work for the greater cause of national interest including social awareness, spiritual consciousness and environmental concern.

Incidently, all of them were engineering students from V.J.T.I. The activity started in 1990 under the guidance of two V.J.T.I. faculty members, Shri. Nakhare, Shri. Ganpule and a renowned social worker Shri. Mama Devasthali. The small group has now grown into an organization of 6000 members. An organization, of the students, run by the students for betterment of the society. The work has started with various activities and is being continued with the fuel of constant encouragement and support from the society.

We, through our spectrum of activities, aim at building up socially responsible young generation and divert the collective strength of students towards upliftment of rural area. We are aiming for the SKY and we are sure that our dreams will come true one day or other, because we believe that,

" God helps those, who help others ! "
