Study Center

"Books are infinite in number and time is short. The secret of knowledge is to take what is essential. Take that & try to live up to it."

Swami Vivekanand

Dyanmandir's Concept

"Technology is a gift of God. After the gift of life it is perhaps the greatest of God's gifts. It is the mother of civilizations, of arts and of sciences." - Freeman Dyson

DnyanMandir provides students with a large library having good books and their very own ‘place of study’. Both of these facilities are proven catalysts to a student’s successful academic life. This was the first project of Mandal, conceived in 1991, for facilitating students enrolled in higher studies to secure the great educational journey and be inspired by the Swami Vivekananda’s clarion call to serve the society.

Dyanmandir's Objectives

  • To make available a rich resource of academic as well as non-academic books to students which would benefit them in studies as well as in overall character development

  • To provide students with a study place having an environment which enhances concentration, enables group studies and aids collective learning

Study Center Description

Knowing the importance of having a peaceful ‘place to study’ Vivekanand Seva Mandal came up with its well-equipped Study Centre, wherein we aim to provide students an exclusive place to study. This not only provides them a productive study environment but also builds a student to student camaraderie which helps in doubt solving and guidance eventually leading to an in depth and detailed study.

VSM Study Centre has become the melting pot for students from various faculties and academic years.

This study centre also offers the members a bigger platform to be a part of socio-technical activities of Vivekanand Seva Mandal.
